"I have tested a few Windows hosting company to host MS SQL Server. VPS Malaysia gives the fastest SQL database access speed, a few times faster in some scenario. The support is excellent too. I can even get quick chat reply even late at night. So far, there is no unexpected downtime apart from the scheduled maintenance. In the beginning, Windows Server 2008 is used with 1Gb RAM (which may be too small). The system will occasionally crash and need reboot. After upgrading to Windows Server 2012, it no longer crashes. Then I upgraded to 2Gb RAM. So far everything runs smoothly. I have been using it since 2017."
